How does the client application work? Can I manage device offloads?

The client software application provides you with the ability to offload health and activity data from devices. Once it is installed and running on your computer, all you need to do to ensure proper data offload is to make sure you are connected to the Internet, and that your access point is plugged into your computer. From there, the client application and your access point will do the rest!

To offload data, your device simply needs to pass near your access point. While you are able to manually enter activity data into your STEP SUCCESS account, there is no need to manually manage your offloads via the client software. The client software will stay hidden in your system tray. If you double-click the icon, the application will pop up and show you all compatible devices within range of your Actilink, as well as their serial numbers, version and current status.

What are the USB Device & Client Software System Requirements?

A Personal Computer (PC) with any of the following operating systems: Windows 2000 or greater, and Apple OSX 10.3-10.5 with an Internet Connection (constant connection preferred).

Can you send me a CD with the Actilink software?

Unfortunately, we do not send CDs. If you are unable to download the software, check your firewall settings and make sure that you check the “accept agreement” box on the “Actilink Software User License Agreement.”
